The Product Designer will translate product requirements into user-centric UI/UX flows and improve the design system for scalability and accessibility. They will collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure high-quality implementation and conduct user tests to iterate on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into clean, modern, and human-centric UI/UX flows that prioritize ease, clarity, and empathy for healthcare users
- Improve and maintain Align, Steer Health's design system: ensuring scalability, consistency, and accessibility across all digital touchpoints
- Apply accessibility-by-default design principles (WCAG practices, contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, clear hierarchy)
- Create high-fidelity screens, design components, and prototypes for web + mobile, tablet products
- Improve and maintain Steer Health's design system (Align) with scalable, reusable components
- Contribute strong visual direction in typography, layout, iconography, color systems, micro-interactions
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure feasible, high-quality implementation
- Conduct quick user tests, iterate on feedback, and ensure design decisions align with business goals
- Support product marketing visuals when required (dashboards, screens, imagery)
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for SaaS or digital products
- Strong portfolio showcasing clean UI, visual design strength, and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, prototyping)
- Understanding of design systems, responsive layouts, and accessibility principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver polished output on tight timelines
