The Information Architect is a key player in improving the IBM.com global website experience. This role involves collaborating on IA and content strategy efforts with a team of information architects, content strategists, taxonomists, and product owners.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with content managers, web strategists, researchers, and UX designers to inform site mapping and content hierarchy for pages and sites.
- Collaborate on content audits, gap analyses, analytics research and competitive assessments.
- Work with content managers, researchers, and UX designers to refine content organization and information architecture, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic content initiatives and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs Degree in Information Science, Content Strategy, User Experience (UX) Design, Information Architecture or a similar field.
- Knowledge of modern Content Strategy and Information Architecture strategies, including the use of breadcrumbs, sitemaps, and page-level content hierarchies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
