The UI/UX Designer will create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma while developing modular design systems for scalability. They will analyze user personas and conduct usability testing to ensure designs are user-centric and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Create high-fidelity UI/UX designs and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Develop modular design systems and reusable components for scalability
- User-Centric Approach: Analyze and interpret user personas, behaviors, and journeys to inform design decisions
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
- Accessibility & Aesthetics: Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) for color contrast, typography, and navigation
- Apply best practices in color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Responsive Design: Deliver designs optimized for various screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of responsive layouts
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with business goals
Requirements
- 5–6 years of experience in creating modular, reusable design components, ensuring accessibility compliance, and delivering responsive designs across multiple devices
- Deep understanding of user personas and the ability to translate them into engaging experiences
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and component libraries
- Experience with modular design and reusable components
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines, color theory, and typography
- Ability to interpret user personas and translate insights into design solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
