Product Designer - HashiCorp Infrastructure/Self-Serve

The Senior Product Designer will help maintain a focus on user experience across Waypoint, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement and integration with Terraform. The designer will work with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and prioritize initiatives to improve the user experience measurably.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a focus on user experience across Waypoint, identifying strategic opportunities for improvement and integration with Terraform
• Contribute to product strategy and vision discussions, driving alignment across the team
• Discover and specify strategic opportunities for improvement through generative research
• Inform product strategy, shape product design vision and direction, and drive alignment across the team
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to envision innovative workflows for provisioning and deploying infrastructure

Requirements

• Established professional enterprise Product Designer
• Experience designing for complex enterprise software for infrastructure, developer tooling, or developer experience
• Understanding of culture and building a fun, high-functioning team
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn key workflows involved in ILM products (Terraform, Packer, Vagrant, Waypoint, Nomad)
