The Product Designer will own design strategy for their product, contributing to platform-wide patterns and guiding design decisions. The designer will work with cross-functional teams to create scalable, maintainable, and user-centered design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own design strategy for the product, contributing to platform-wide patterns and guiding design decisions
- Navigate ambiguity and make independent decisions in complex environments
- Create frameworks to help the team make progress, balancing product-specific needs with platform-wide consistency
- Lead cross-team initiatives, breaking down silos and ensuring coherent experiences
- Set and maintain quality standards for the product, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining usability and accessibility
- Mentor designers, providing structured programs and detailed feedback to help them develop craft excellence and strategic thinking
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of product design experience
- Demonstrated ability to own design strategy for entire products or complex product areas
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking at scale
- Proven experience leading design for entire products, not just features
- Track record of platform-level thinking, contributing patterns and frameworks that scale
