Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist

The Senior Graphic Designer/Marketing Specialist will develop digital and print communications to strengthen the library's brand and engage the community. This role involves designing materials, contributing to photography and video projects, and collaborating with various teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Graphic design - digital and print
- Creates digital and print materials that support internal and external communication needs
- Strengthens brand awareness through writing, editing, design, and layout
- Works closely with team members to support campaigns, initiatives, and organizational projects
- Partners with staff to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions informed by strong design and production skills
- Photography and video collaboration
Requirements
- Four or more years of related graphic design experience
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
- Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Advanced technology skills for Microsoft 365 and familiarity with MS Teams
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Copywriting and layout experience
- Experience with social media
- Basic photography and editing skills

About Arapahoe Libraries
The Arapahoe Library District was established in April 1966 to provide public library service to all residents of Arapahoe County, except those living in the cities of Littleton, Englewood and Aurora. Residents of these cities are served by libraries established prior to 1966 that are funded and maintained by their respective city governments.
