The Senior Product Designer will drive design within their squad and collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering. They will conduct user research to understand clients, patients, and healthcare professionals to build engaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gain understanding: Whilst you’re not expected to have prior knowledge of our industry (veterinary/pet health) you are expected to do user research to better understand both our clients (pet owners), our patients (the pets) and our wonderful healthcare professionals (the vets).
- Drive outcomes: You’ll get stuck in, finding quick wins and/or big opportunities, have a hypothesis, brainstorm, experiment, gather insights, prototype, discuss with partners, iterate, increment and repeat.
- Champion user-centred principles: Use your understanding and practice combined with your creative skills to craft solutions that address user needs, pain points, and preferences.
Requirements
- Experience: You’ve spent time creating and shipping intuitive digital experiences, with the portfolio to back it up.
- Craft: Strong UX, UI, and interaction skills. Ability to identify a user problem and take it from concept to high-fidelity solution.
- Team player: You exhibit kindness, humility and authenticity. Seeking to understand your teammates and assuming good intentions.
- Communication: You have good verbal and written communication skills, a passion for connecting with users, and giving honest and actionable feedback to your colleagues, and communicating the intent behind your work
Key Skills
- Strong UX, UI, and interaction skills. Ability to identify a user problem and take it from concept to high-fidelity solution.
- Proficient with Figma, have worked with a Design System, and built prototypes to bring experiences to life.
