As a Web Designer, you will create visually engaging and user-focused website designs using Figma. You will collaborate with copywriters and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites.
Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling website layouts for small and mid-sized U.S. businesses
- Work extensively in Figma โ apply correct layering, tagging, naming conventions, and grouping for developer-ready files
- Use Figma Prototyping to define navigation, interactions, and page flow
- Apply principles of UI/UX, color theory, and responsive design for consistent visual hierarchy and accessibility
- Translate design fundamentals into industry-appropriate aesthetics
- Collaborate with copy-writers and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites
- Maintain agility โ meet high-output goals while upholding design quality and brand consistency
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in web design
- Hands-on expertise in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, and prototyping
- Strong understanding of responsive design, color theory, and typography
- Portfolio of at least 10 professional website designs showcasing creativity and consistency
- Good communication and collaboration skills
