Web Designer

As a Web Designer, you will create visually engaging and user-focused website designs using Figma. You will collaborate with copywriters and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling website layouts for small and mid-sized U.S. businesses
• Work extensively in Figma — apply correct layering, tagging, naming conventions, and grouping for developer-ready files
• Use Figma Prototyping to define navigation, interactions, and page flow
• Apply principles of UI/UX, color theory, and responsive design for consistent visual hierarchy and accessibility
• Translate design fundamentals into industry-appropriate aesthetics
• Collaborate with copy-writers and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites
• Maintain agility — meet high-output goals while upholding design quality and brand consistency

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in web design
• Hands-on expertise in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, and prototyping
• Strong understanding of responsive design, color theory, and typography
• Portfolio of at least 10 professional website designs showcasing creativity and consistency
• Good communication and collaboration skills
