Senior Graphic Designer
American University Of Iraq - Baghdad • Baghdad, Iraq 🇮🇶
AUIB is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to drive its mission of advancing innovation and education through powerful and consistent visual communication. The Senior Graphic Designer will lead creative design initiatives, develop campaign visuals, uphold CEID’s brand identity, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage production processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of creative concepts and visual assets for promotional campaigns, academic materials, events, and branding initiatives
- Uphold and refine CEID’s visual identity, ensuring consistent application across all media and communication materials
- Partner with marketing, multimedia, and content teams to design compelling graphics that support CEID’s strategic goals
- Design a wide range of materials from social media posts to printed brochures and oversee production with vendors to ensure quality output
- Handle multiple design projects efficiently, meet tight deadlines, and stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years in professional graphic design, with preference for experience in academic or institutional settings
- Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop with strong typography and layout abilities
- Certifications in design software or branding are advantageous

- Experience with Figma or Canva is a plus
