User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) Designer

The successful candidate will design user-centric, intuitive interfaces to ensure seamless user interactions. They will collaborate closely with product owners, program managers, and software developers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Translate user needs and business requirements, to include Section 508 compliant solutions throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product owners, program managers, and software developers to shape the user experience.
- Design user-centric, intuitive interfaces that ensure seamless user interactions in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related field of study.
- Four + years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design process and front-end development skills.
- Proficiency in UI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
- Experience with front-end development skills working with HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and requirements.
- Ability to support agile development teams by providing design assets, specifications, and feedback throughout the sprint cycle
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards. Experience with responsive design principles and techniques. Knowledge of design systems and component libraries. Experience with data visualization principles.
