Lead Product Designer, Commerce Cloud

The Lead UX Designer will own the design systems for Salesforce Commerce Cloud storefront experiences, ensuring scalable and consistent e-commerce experiences. This role involves collaboration with engineering teams to implement inclusive and accessible online shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define, create, and maintain the Commerce Cloud design system in Figma, including components, patterns, design tokens, and storefront-specific elements
• Work closely with front-end engineers to translate design system components into production-ready code
• Collaborate on technical implementation decisions, leveraging understanding of front-end development constraints and opportunities
• Establish design system governance standards and oversee the roadmap for features and updates

Requirements

• 7+ years designing and delivering digital products as part of cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of specific experience with design systems creation, implementation, and governance
• Expert knowledge of Figma, including advanced component creation, auto-layout, variants, and design token management
• Strong understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals)
