UX Designer

We are looking for a thoughtful and collaborative UX Designer to help shape the next generation of Zipcar's digital experiences. You'll design intuitive, human-centered solutions that make it effortless for members to find, book, and drive Zipcars.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform product design decisions
- Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction designs that enhance the Zipcar experience across web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, consistent implementation of designs
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and business priorities
- Advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and sustainability in all aspects of design
- Contribute to and help evolve Zipcar's design system to ensure consistent brand and interaction patterns
- Partner with UX researchers to validate design hypotheses and improve the end-to-end member journey
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in UX, preferably in consumer-facing or mobile-first products
- Proficiency with Figma
- Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centered design solutions and process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly
- A passion for designing a member-centric experience
