As a UI/UX Designer at Amivero, you will design intuitive and accessible interfaces for mission-critical government systems. You will collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end designs with backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend engineers to understand technical requirements and ensure front-end designs work seamlessly with backend systems
- Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints into intuitive, high-quality designs
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual assets using design tools
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
- Design accessible interfaces that comply with Section 508/WCAG 2.1 AA and federal usability standards
Requirements
- US Citizenship required to obtain government clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, HCI, or Computer Science field
- 3+ years of UI/UX experience
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision
- Experience designing for web applications, responsive design, and accessibility compliance
