Staff AI Product Designer, Agentic Offensive Security

HackerOne is seeking an experienced product designer to join their growing team, focusing on advancing offensive security testing offerings and applying GenAI via LLM. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and has organizational skills to plan and execute initiatives to improve the overall product experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to design product experiences
- Own the entire design process from start to implementation
- Present work and the thinking behind it at weekly design critiques
- Champion the growing Design Language System
- Identify and communicate design rationale and tradeoffs to key stakeholders
- Pivot between contributing to high-level product decisions and understanding low-level implications
Requirements
- 8+ years of UX and product design experience
- Proven ability to coach peers in AI-first design practices
- Experience in conducting user interviews, usability tests and summary of findings
- A strong understanding of UX and product interaction problems
- A strong history of working with product management and development teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
