The Senior Graphic Designer will design visual imagery in alignment with DoS branding specifications and develop content for program websites and communication materials. This role involves transforming stakeholder ideas into engaging visuals while managing multiple projects and ensuring quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Design visual imagery in alignment with DoS branding specifications.
  • Develop content, infographics and design concepts to update program websites, and communication materials.
  • Continuously improve the innovative media and create engaging materials to keep the program website current and active.
  • Design and develop communication and marketing materials including posters, one-pagers, brochures, presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years knowledge of the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign).
  • Demonstrated competencies in preparing, publication and producing dissemination for leadership, management, and diverse user groups.
  • Must be able to obtain or have an active Secret (or higher) clearance.

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign)
  • Understanding of WordPress and CSS/HTML coding
