- Setting design standards, patterns, and best practices that others follow
- Identifying and solving systemic design problems across products
Requirements
- Portfolio showing leadership and influence across multiple teams or products
- Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems
- Deep expertise in visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking
- Strong research skills and ability to validate strategic decisions with evidence
- History of setting direction that others follow
- Experience mentoring and developing other designers
