Principal Product Designer - RTO Enterprise

As the Principal Product Designer, you will shape how private-sector security teams engage with Axon’s real-time platform. You will conduct user research, lead experience strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and impactful designs.

Responsibilities

• Design for a new and growing class of users—corporate security professionals, analysts, and operations leaders—working across complex, distributed environments
• Conduct field and remote research to deeply understand our users, their environments, and their missions
• Lead experience strategy for enterprise users of the Real-Time Operations platform
• Collaborate deeply with product, engineering, deployment, and sales to ensure we deliver scalable, intuitive, and responsible experiences

Requirements

• 12+ years of product design experience, including leading design for complex AI, ML, or enterprise-scale systems
• Proven ability to own end-to-end user experiences across multiple products
• Strategic Vision: Demonstrated success in setting and executing a UX direction that aligns with business priorities

Key Skills

• Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and emerging front-end technologies
• Customer-Driven Practice: Deep experience engaging directly with users to explore their context, pressure points, and workflows
