Lead design strategy and execution for product pillars while mentoring and growing the design team. Partner with PMs and Engineering to translate business goals into design roadmaps and influence the product vision through storytelling and user empathy.
Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars
- Drive design quality reviews and own standards for usability, accessibility, and design consistency
- Mentor and grow the design team; provide thoughtful feedback and career guidance
- Partner with PMs and Engineering to translate business goals into design roadmaps
- Influence the product vision through storytelling, data synthesis, and user empathy
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant design experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity
- Proven record of delivering elegant, data-informed experiences across the full design lifecycle
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility, and scalable design patterns
- Strong visual and interaction design craft
Key Skills
- Experience with AI-powered design tooling
- Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints
- Ability to work closely with engineers to ship quality
- Committed to inclusive, accessible, and scalable design
