Okta is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to help build trusted identity experiences for developers, businesses, and end users. The researcher will lead research studies, work closely with cross-functional partners, and drive thoughtful product decisions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct end-to-end research using both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Lead research initiatives that inform features, workflows, and overall product direction
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, engineers, and data scientists to define research questions and embed insights into decision-making
- Synthesize findings into clear, concise insights and recommendations
- Contribute to the team’s research processes, templates, and best practices
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of UX research experience in a product environment
- Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Experience working cross-functionally with PMs, designers, and engineers
- Strong synthesis and storytelling skills
- Familiarity with tools like Dovetail, Confluence, Jira, Heap, and common survey platforms
