Inverter/ eMotor System Design Engineering Student

Assist with the design, development, analysis, and testing of electric motors and inverters for electric traction drives. Contribute to the design and development of eDrive architecture by understanding system requirements and performing competitor analysis.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design and development of eDrive architecture by understanding system requirements and subsystem requirements
- Perform inverter/eMotor system requirements analysis and support modeling to define the optimum inverter/eMotor system design
- Carry out competitor analysis (benchmarking) of different inverter/eMotor system solutions in the transportation market
Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school
- Preferably working towards or has a Master of Science in the field of electrical engineering
Key Skills
- Analytical ability and understanding of engineering theory and principles of design
- Fundamental understanding of energy conversion principles, as well as the operation of DC-DC and DC-AC converters, including PWM techniques
