The Manager, Hardware Design Engineering leads cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development and manages the design and implementation of electrical systems. They are responsible for analyzing customer requirements, creating schematics, and coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the work of developing new electrical systems/circuits for various applications
- Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems
- Test, simulate, validate and qualify systems and make adjustments as needed
- Create designs in line with Celestica's procedures, regulations and customer standards
- Set yearly plans and goals for the department, give direction on expected performance, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Key Skills
- Design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
