Design Engineering Manager/PLM Administrator

The Senior PLM Administrator will coordinate with all functional departments to ensure the PLM system supports business needs and interfaces with other systems. This role involves translating business requirements into PLM solutions and managing integrations with various business systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to translate business requirements into specific PLM solutions, by identifying gaps in business processes and transforming them into PLM improvement initiatives.
• Develop and document AS IS and TO BE Solution Specification for team members to work from.
• Evaluate business objectives that require new enhanced processes, integration requirements with other technology solutions in conjunction with subject matter experts.
• Project Management skills to deploy simple to complex business systems integrations to generate one true source of information and timely and accurate flow downs to the next process or consumers of information.

Requirements

• Previous experience preferably using PLM systems such as Teamcenter, Enovia, Windchill or Autodesk Manage in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Possess strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead and motivate direct reports to meet company set deadlines and achieve common goals.
• Working knowledge of MS computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
