The Manager - UX Designer will explore, develop, implement, and evaluate digital innovation solutions to address customer needs while leading multiple projects across various creative and marketing channels. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to maximize value and providing consultancy on product commercialization strategies.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Lead and participate in the brainstorming of and creation of concepts for best-in-class user experiences
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they look like
- Design graphical user interface elements, i.e. menus, tabs and widgets utilizing a unified design system
- Strong focus on essential elements such as color, typography and texture
- Work closely with fellow creatives and developers to ensure the solidity of design systems
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness & adaptive design)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and adhere to corporate brand guidelines
- Present design work to the user experience team, product teams, and senior leadership for review and feedback
Requirements
- Min. of 5 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Understanding of Enterprise Design Systems or Atomic Design Systems
- Experience developing UX wireframes, interactive prototypes and mock - ups for both web and mobile
- Possess a solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered goal - directed design principles
- Possess a good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies
- Proven ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
- Experience in designing for the web, preferably for Enterprise products
- Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
- Current on latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
