User Research Moderator

The ideal candidate will facilitate user research sessions, ensuring participants are comfortable and engaged to gather valuable insights on consumer product devices. This is an in-person research study with participants using wearable technology devices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate user research sessions, ensuring participants are comfortable and engaged to gather valuable insights on consumer product devices.
• Provide instructions to participants on wearable devices
• Guide participants through various activities to ensure accurate data collection
• Ask follow-up questions and probing for insights as needed.
• Ensure participant sessions run smoothly by managing timing, recording, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
• Take detailed notes and document participant feedback accurately during and after sessions.
• Collaborate with UX researchers to achieve research objectives and methodologies.
• Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor to create a positive participant experience in person.

Requirements

• Previous roles in UX research, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience moderating user research studies, facilitating training groups or teaching sessions.
• Microsoft Teams proficiency
