User Experience Designer

PTC is seeking a junior UX Designer to join their AI Product Team, focusing on designing products centered on applying AI in the industrial software space. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI-based technologies and has a good sense of design practices.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver the creation of UX design artifacts
• Collaborate with, and support, senior team members while helping ensure consistency and usability across products
• Assist in documenting AI usage guidelines, standards, and specification definition
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, and working sessions with product UX and engineering teams
• Engage in team rituals, mentorship opportunities, and design-related events

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human Factors, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience as a UX Designer in web-based, mobile, and desktop software applications
• Defining, developing, and documenting UX design and interaction requirements and specifications
• Sharable portfolio for evaluation
• Understanding of user-centered design, design thinking, and UX best practices

Key Skills

• Demonstrated understanding of UX and UI design knowledge
• Familiarity with design systems, combined with a basic understanding of front-end development and web components
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities
• A keen eye for detail to ensure design consistency and quality across all core deliverables of the design system
• Desire to delve into emerging technologies like AI
