Staff UX Designer

The Trade Desk is seeking a Staff UX Designer to lead and own UX initiatives across their portfolio of inventory products and services, crafting intuitive and best-in-class interactive interfaces. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional UX Design experience and expert proficiency in Figma.
Responsibilities
- Champion a user-centered design approach, passionately understanding and advocating for the needs and preferences of our users
- Lead the design and evolution of our Sell Side platforms, ensuring consistency and scalability of design across the platform
- Own the design process, including concept design, product definition, interaction, and visual design, for complex features
- Leverage and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency across products while proactively identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancement
- Develop and implement design concepts by creating user flows, interactive prototypes, developing intuitive and efficient user interfaces aligned with industry best practices
- Transform broad, conceptual, and potentially ambiguous ideas into valuable user experiences that seamlessly blend functionality with ease-of-use
- Contribute to planning and vision on key company initiatives by collaborating with product managers, engineers and researchers
- Support the planning and execution of usability testing sessions, gathering valuable feedback from users and iterating on designs based on user insights
- Provide implementation guidance to engineers, ensuring features maintain high quality and alignment with the design vision
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of professional UX Design experience
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Experienced working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
