The UI/UX Design Specialist will redesign and enhance digital documents, forms, and email templates to ensure compliance with accessibility standards. They will collaborate with stakeholders and perform accessibility reviews to improve user experience.
Responsibilities
- Redesign and enhance documents, forms, and email templates to comply with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements
- Provide accessibility specifications for redesigned materials
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs meet functional, usability, and accessibility goals
- Perform accessibility reviews and recommend improvements for compliance and user experience
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Accessibility Specialist, or related role
- Strong knowledge of Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.x (Levels A & AA)
- Hands-on experience designing, creating, and/or remediating Microsoft Office and PDF documents, as well as accessible email content
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of accessibility guidelines and standards
- Excellent design and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Proficiency in design tools and accessibility testing software
