Staff Product Designer - Infrastructure

Datadog is seeking a Staff Product Designer to work on Infrastructure products, creating a cohesive and guided experience for users. The designer will be a strategic partner to design, engineering, and product leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact design initiatives across Containers, Serverless, Networking, and other Infra areas
• Shape the long-term UX vision for Infra, ensuring customers can quickly identify anomalies, understand their impact, and move seamlessly to investigation and resolution
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to create more integrated and intuitive cross-product experiences
• Partner with PM and Engineering leadership to align roadmaps and drive cohesive multi-product user experiences

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience crafting complex, web-based products
• Proven ability to tell compelling stories that advocate for users, build alignment, and articulate a clear design vision
• Comfortable working across deeply technical domains and multi-product ecosystems
• Natural collaborator and facilitator, skilled at navigating cross-functional dynamics with senior stakeholders

Key Skills

• Modern design tools like Figma
• Creating and scaling design patterns across an organization
• Balancing strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to deliver elevated solutions
