Product Designer - Global Payment

ByteDance is seeking a talented mobile app or web-based product designer to provide the best payment service experience. The designer will have the opportunity to explore, conceptualize, communicate, collaborate, execute and ultimately improve the quality of products.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in crafting the user experience of globally-relevant and locally-optimised payment products from web-based platforms to consumer-facing mobile apps
• Design the global products for worldwide users, i.e., LATAM, US, EU and other countries
• Drive the innovation of design and the improvement of user experience across all payment products
• Take ownership of design quality, consistency and improve the visual language and actively contribute to the design system
• Engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams in customer centric design process and be highly involved in the entire product life-cycle from product planning, detail design to implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) educational background
• Proven experience in UX design (usability research, journey maps, wireframing, prototyping) preferably within the tech sector
• Proven experience in UI design, visual design (visual language, design system) preferably within the tech sector
• Portfolio with prior work experience that demonstrates your ability to turn complex problems into simple solutions
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop or AI etc
