This role involves leading the design of the Orion platform, applying user-experience research and design methodologies to catalyze the development of the platform for molecular design.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality user research to develop user personas and design strategy
- Create and iteratively refine design solutions through mocks, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
- Measure product success and value delivery through analytics
- Participate in formulating strategic product vision as it relates to user experience design
- Coach stakeholders in key aspects of design
- Contribute to building design resources with developers
Requirements
- BS with a minimum of 7 years of experience OR MS with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience
- 3+ yearsβ experience in UX/UI design at an agile, SaaS or similar organization
- Excellent user research skills and an ability to synthesize and translate technical user research and experience into elegant visual design
- Well-acquainted with design tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
- A history of working with diverse stakeholders including front-end engineers, customers and product representatives
