This role involves leading the design of the Orion platform, applying user-experience research and design methodologies to catalyze the development of the platform for molecular design.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality user research to develop user personas and design strategy
  • Create and iteratively refine design solutions through mocks, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Measure product success and value delivery through analytics
  • Participate in formulating strategic product vision as it relates to user experience design
  • Coach stakeholders in key aspects of design
  • Contribute to building design resources with developers

Requirements

  • BS with a minimum of 7 years of experience OR MS with a minimum of 5 years of experience OR PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI design at an agile, SaaS or similar organization
  • Excellent user research skills and an ability to synthesize and translate technical user research and experience into elegant visual design
  • Well-acquainted with design tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
  • A history of working with diverse stakeholders including front-end engineers, customers and product representatives
