You will implement UI systems design in Unreal Engine, build rapid prototypes, and work collaboratively with UX Designers, UI Artists, and UI Programmers. Your role will involve taking ownership of complex features and ensuring UI performance best practices are followed.
Responsibilities
- Work on UI Systems Design, breaking down features and wireframes into necessary widgets, structures, and classes
- Increase UI performance by ensuring best practices are being followed
- Implement blueprint logic and assist UI artists in implementing special presentation behavior
- Take ownership of complex features with minimal oversight
- Debug blueprints/UMG issues quickly using various tools and techniques
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in building UI and experiences in game engines and across multiple platforms
- 2 years of experience shipping updates and new features to a user base on a regular cadence
- Professional experience using Adobe Suite, engine experience, and understanding of game industry 3D-package experience
