Visual UX Designer, Devices & Services

Amazon's Devices and Services Design organization is seeking a Visual UX Designer to lead Amazon’s next innovation and create exciting, AI-driven Alexa and UI experiences for flagship products. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of design experience and a strong understanding of visual systems and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Be hands on, working alongside a talented team of like-minded visual designers, and have a strong understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, color palette, typography, iconography and illustrations
• Visualize an experience in the abstract, build consensus, and then drive that vision into concise design deliverables
• Advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and our products

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience
• Have an available online portfolio
• Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar

• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets
• Base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market
• Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package
