The UX Designer will partner with PM, engineering, and data teams to define and execute product strategy and roadmap. Responsibilities include mapping user journeys, creating design prototypes, and conducting usability tests.
Responsibilities
- Partner with PM, engineering, and data in defining and executing our product strategy and roadmap
- Map out user journeys and the respective user flows for different personas
- Storytelling chops, bringing these user stories and insights to life
- Presenting insights and rallying the team to co-create solutions
- Driven by data and research, designing and analyzing workflows to support key business objectives
- Creating design prototypes, micro-interactions, and transitions
- Build and maintain Design Systems on Figma
- Conducting usability tests
Requirements
- Degree with 5+ years of experience as a professional UX Designer
- Design experience with consumer products a plus
- Creative and able to see things differently and come up with solutions that solve problems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical people
- Strong opinions loosely held
- Experience working in start-up and/or media company environments
- BS/MS in Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field a plus
