Senior Graphic Designer | Remote | LATAM Only | 86113

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for crafting and overseeing the creation of comprehensive signage packages, focusing on ADA-compliant signage. This role requires collaboration with project managers and clients to ensure design intent is met and projects are executed seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of diverse signage packages, including dimensional lettering and graphic sets, regulatory and safety signage, large format graphics, vehicle graphics and wraps, banners, and general commercial signage
• Demonstrate professional proficiency and serve as the team expert in industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), for efficient and high-quality design work
• Design and manage the implementation of ADA-compliant signage, including the precise specification and layout of tactile characters and Grade 2 Braille
• Collaborate closely with project managers, the production team, and clients to ensure design intent is met, projects are executed seamlessly, and client expectations are exceeded
• Create professional mock-ups for client review and approval
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize team workflow, and ensure adherence to deadlines and project budgets
• Prepare detailed production-ready artwork files, ensuring seamless transition to manufacturing
• Process and manage print-ready files using RIP (Raster Image Processor) software, optimizing layouts for material efficiency and print quality
• Operate wide-format digital printers and vinyl plotters, overseeing the printing and cutting process to ensure accurate and high-quality output
• Perform pre-press checks on artwork to identify and resolve potential production issues before printing
• Assist with quality control of printed and finished products to ensure they meet company standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, specifically within the signage or large-format printing industry
• Proven expertise in designing ADA-compliant signage, including tactile graphics, Grade 2 Braille, and understanding of accessibility standards
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design) and strong knowledge of print production processes, color management, and file preparation for manufacturing
• Familiarity with RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Caldera, FlexiSIGN-PRO)
• Demonstrated experience operating wide-format roll-to-roll printers and vinyl plotters
