The Senior Product Designer will pitch, prototype, test, build, ship, and refine new features while also refining UX/UI patterns across iOS and Android apps. They will influence the product roadmap and help shape the design organization.
Responsibilities
- Pitching, prototyping, testing, building, shipping, and refining new features
- Refining UX/UI patterns across iOS and Android apps
- Rethinking onboarding and core user flows
- Influencing the product roadmap
- Refining process and helping shape the design org
Requirements
- Experience in research, discovery, prototyping, and delivery of consumer-facing products across multiple platforms
- Product thinking: understanding strategy and articulating what and why as equally as how
- Customer-centricity: being comfortable talking with customers and using their feedback in the design process
- Collaboration: knowing how to inspire, play, and negotiate with opinionated PMs, engineers, and execs
- Craft: being skilled at typography, information design, and micro-interactions, and being curious about audio
Key Skills
- Typography, information design, and micro-interactions
- Understanding what's feasible in iOS, Android, and the browser
- Articulate and able to explain ideas at various resolutions
- Asking just as many questions as answering, with attention to detail in writing and design
