Principal UX Designer

The Principal UX Designer will improve the usability and design of OneTrust's product offerings while mentoring junior designers. They will create deliverables for the entire design process and advocate for UX best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables for the entire design process, including information architecture, interface design, interaction design, and low and high-fidelity prototypes
• Identify, collect, and analyze data to inform user experience decisions
• Identify, define and promote UX best practices, including templates
• Serve as a UX advocate within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or related field
• 8+ years of work, personal project, or internship experience with the full product design process, from research to rollout
• Portfolio demonstrating proven capabilities of UX and UI design process required
• Experience with design tools including, but not limited to; Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Key Skills

• Advanced visual and interaction design skills with strong attention to detail, usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), and comprehensive state coverage across complex interfaces
• Skilled in no-code or low-code tools such as Framer, Webflow, or internal builder platforms
• Proficiency in Figma, working with components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and efficient file organization
• Strong UX writing skills to craft clear, concise, and helpful in-product copy that enhances usability
