The UX Designer will work closely with the UX lead to execute the product vision and be involved in the end-to-end product design process. They will craft intuitive experiences that empower clients to make confident financial decisions and create design deliverables that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the UX lead to execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design process.
- Understand the underlying needs and motivation of clients to ensure business goals and provide value.
- Provide design solutions for content-focused experiences for research content consumers and content authoring tools.
- Independently and collaboratively seek to learn about the business domain and users.
- Craft intuitive and elegant experiences that empower clients to make confident financial decisions.
- Work closely with the research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions.
- Create and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes) to engender confidence.
- Form holistic solutions that integrate seamlessly into the wealth management product ecosystem.
- Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers.
- Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture.
- Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance.
Requirements
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating experiences that solved business and user needs.
- 2-5 years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launched.
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field, preferably, master's degree a plus.
- Excellent skills in Figma.
- Experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement.
- Leverage research, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively validate and enhance design concepts.
- Thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and value being on a diverse team.
- Practice active listening and contribute in group situations.
- Get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstacles.
