As a UX Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-centered experiences for internal business applications. You will focus on understanding user needs, improving workflows, and ensuring usability while creating visually consistent user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints
- Design user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma (intermediate to advanced level required)
- Apply UX best practices to ensure intuitive, efficient, and user-centered designs
- Create consistent and visually coherent UI designs aligned with existing patterns and brand guidelines
- Conduct or support usability testing, identify UX issues, and iterate based on findings
- Translate complex requirements into clear and usable interfaces for internal users
- Maintain and evolve design documentation and contribute to a cohesive design system
- Work within agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UX design or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Figma (intermediate/advanced)
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards
- Experience creating UI designs that are consistent, clear, and aligned with a productโs visual language
- Familiarity with software development processes and collaboration within tech teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support and guide Business Analysts in understanding UX principles, helping translate business needs into user-centered design solutions
- Familiar with Microsoft suite of products (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Well-developed in the areas of planning, organizing, and prioritizing
- Self-starter, ability to work independently to research problems and identify solutions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Previous experience in the travel industry (desired but not required)
- Familiarity with Jira and agile project management tools
- Awareness of accessibility principles (a11y)
