Lead the design journey for user-centered health tech applications, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and continuously improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design journey for user-centered health tech applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers
- Advocate for the user’s voice using data-driven insights
- Stay informed about industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, human-computer interaction, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5-7 years in product or UX/UI design, with health tech industry experience preferred
- Expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
- Exceptional skills in crafting compelling, functional, and user-friendly interfaces
- Proven ability to create measurable and impactful user experiences
- Exceptional collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced environments and adept at handling multiple priorities
- Passion for creating positive user experiences and improving healthcare outcomes
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for prototyping (nice-to-have)
- Background in healthcare or knowledge of healthcare systems and processes (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and design thinking (nice-to-have)
