UX Designer intern at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Product and Technology, contributing to the design of ESPN's digital products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of app and web experiences for consumer-facing products
- Collaborate with a diverse set of partners
- Work closely with teammates to produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
- Present design work for feedback
Requirements
- Experience designing experiences and user flows
- Understand user-centered design principles and best practices
- Self-motivated, problem solver
- Hungry for innovation, eager to challenge the status quo
- Interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills
- Strong work ethic, reliable, adaptable, and work well with others
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI, Design, Art, Human Interface, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2026 (12 weeks)
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
