Remote Contract

A remote UX Designer with travel to London, required for government projects with GDS Service Standard experience.

Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Design wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces in line with GDS best practices.
Ensure accessibility compliance and inclusive design across all digital services.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
Translate complex government processes into simple, intuitive digital experiences.

Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably within government or public sector projects.
Knowledge of GDS Service Standard and UK government digital service principles.
Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, accessibility, and service design projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
