Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric digital experiences and craft engaging content for various user interface elements. Advocate for users by championing user-centered content throughout the development lifecycle and iterating based on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers to create cohesive and user-centric digital experiences
- Craft clear, concise, and engaging content for user interfaces, prompts, tooltips, error messages, and other touchpoints
- Participate in the design process, contributing your expertise to wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
- Conduct thorough research on financial products, industry trends, and user behaviors to inform your writing and ensure accuracy
- Advocate for users by championing the importance of user-centered content throughout the development lifecycle
- Iterate and refine content based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics insights
- Collaborate on developing and maintaining content guidelines, style guides, and best practices for the UX writing discipline
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Strategist, or similar role, preferably in the fintech or banking industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to write and craft content for digital interfaces that enhance user experiences
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and articulate your rationale behind content choices
- Proficiency in understanding complex financial concepts and translating them into clear, user-friendly language
- Familiarity with design tools, UX/UI principles, and an understanding of the design process
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for maintaining consistent brand voice and tone
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
