As a Senior UX Writer, you will lead UX writing initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience on the Headout platform. You will ensure consistency in the brand's tone and voice while creating engaging content for various user interactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX writing initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft innovative UX copy solutions
- Guardian of consistency in the brand’s tone and voice
- Foster an understanding that UX writing is a significant part of the customer experience
- Work closely with design to ensure text and visuals achieve perfect harmony
- Create a range of quirky and creative content for interaction flows, emails, product tours, and style guides
- Spend time with Accessibility, QA, Legal, and Localization specialists to ensure content appears properly for every audience
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant writing experience in UX / Tech / Product Marketing roles
- Master of the English language with a knack for engaging copywriting
- Sharp understanding of UX principles
- Ability to present to all levels within Headout
- Ability to juggle multiple changing priorities in an ambiguous, start-up environment
- Craft quirky, whimsical and memorable UX copy
- Strong sense of autonomy and precision in creating UX copy
- Proficiency in writing copy in other international languages (bonus)
- Experience in working with a CMS and creating documentation for technical/digital products (bonus)
- Prior experience working with data (bonus)
