Technical Designer

Technical Designer/Graphic Designer to create and manage product design schematics and projects, focusing on appearance and branding.

Responsibilities

• Work with Graphic Designers to create and put together design schematics for production
• Assist with ideation, concept development, and branding
• Lead team projects and work independently to complete individual projects
• Develop print, packaging, 3-D retail displays, event signage, logo systems, imagery, video, and collateral materials
• Effectively use computerized systems in design process
• Work with functional teams from initial concept development to final production and distribution
• Manage individual projects including internal briefings, timelines, and scheduling work-back schedules
• Budget management, supplier coordination, reviewing specs, recommending production alternatives, and maintaining quality production standards
• Manage both individual projects as well as groups of projects to stay within stated budgets
• Estimate all aspects of project development
• Communicate project details, design requirements, scheduling needs, and graphic materials

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience or 7-8 years of experience if no bachelors
• Proficient in Adobe Suite
• Previous experience working in screen print is nice to have
• CLO 3D fashion design software is nice to have
• Efficient on Mac laptop and Microsoft office
• Strong communications, working with Graphic designers and factory partners with client
• Passion for Sportswear and streetwear
