The Associate UX Researcher will support research initiatives across Condé Nast's global portfolio of brands to uncover user behaviors and insights. They will assist in planning, conducting, and analyzing studies that inform design and product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Work hands-on across a range of projects, from discovery research to usability testing, helping to plan, conduct, and analyse studies that turn user insight into actionable direction for Condé Nast.
  • Assist with research setup, participant recruitment, and study logistics across both web and app experiences.
  • Observe sessions, take detailed notes, and contribute to data analysis summarising findings into clear, actionable recommendations for design and product teams.
  • Partner with Designers, Product Managers, Analysts, and other cross-functional teams across Condé Nast to ensure user insights drive design and product decisions.
  • Participate in workshops, ideation sessions, and cross-brand initiatives that connect research to business and audience goals.
  • Contribute to reports and presentations that make insights engaging, actionable, and accessible for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Help maintain and organise research documentation, insights libraries, and knowledge repositories to support visibility and reusability across teams.
  • Gain hands-on experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, guided by an experienced research team.
  • Develop skills in connecting behavioural and emotional insights to strategic opportunities.
  • Build a deep understanding of Condé Nast audiences across lifestyle, fashion, travel, culture, and shopping brands.
  • Contribute to improving research operations and self-serve frameworks to scale best practices globally.

Requirements

  • Some professional, academic, or internship experience in UX research, usability testing, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, surveys, or usability studies.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to summarise findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and curiosity about how people interact with digital products.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
  • A passion for learning and developing new skills in a supportive research environment.

Key Skills

  • Experience using research tools such as UserTesting.com and Dovetail
  • Experience conducting or assisting with usability studies or interviews.
  • Familiarity with digital content, publishing, or e-commerce environments.
  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • Comfort working across time zones with distributed teams.
