The UI/UX Designer will conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, translating insights into user flows and prototypes. They will collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs are accurately implemented and maintain a consistent design system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points
- Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the product lifecycle
- Collaborate in defining product requirements, ensuring usability is prioritized
- Design high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and final visual assets
- Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and style guides
- Ensure accessibility, consistency, and responsiveness across platforms (web, mobile, tablet)
- Apply typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy to create engaging designs
- Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Work with product managers to define design priorities and timelines
- Present and communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders
Requirements
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design or a related field or demonstratable portfolio of experience
- 2–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.)
- Strong understanding of interaction design, usability, and responsive design
- Experience conducting and applying user research and usability testing
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility
Key Skills
- Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers
- Experience designing for enterprise platforms, SaaS products, or mobile applications
- Familiarity with analytics tools and A/B testing for data-informed design
