Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS) is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer with a Secret Clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
- Leads the design and user experience for applications and interfaces built on the Power Platform.
- Conducts user research, creates wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Ensures designs are accessible, consistent with branding guidelines, and meet user needs.
- Collaborates closely with Power Platform Developers to implement designs.
- Champions user-centered design principles.
Requirements
- User research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), usability testing, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating successful UI/UX design projects.
- Nielsen Norman Group certifications or similar UX certifications are a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Ability to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
