Senior Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Gelato, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with the founders and product team. You will craft intuitive interfaces and help build systems that support seamless experiences for developers and users.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end design process, from ideation and prototyping to user testing and production
• Collaborate closely with founders, product manager, and front-end engineer to shape design direction, define user journeys, and craft intuitive interfaces
• Draw upon Gelato’s evolving visual identity to build and refine systems for a seamless, delightful experience
• Deeply involved in discovery including speaking to users
• Ideate frequently with founders (CEO and CTO)
• Craft delightful experiences
• Avoid unnecessary meetings, plan on Mondays, and do demos on Fridays
• Have ad hoc working sessions and do async daily updates

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Design experience
• Exemplary product thinking abilities, solutions oriented, and capable of working autonomously
• Balances principle-led thinking with pragmatism
• Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users
• Sharp attention to detail and mastery over visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience
• Thrives in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous) environment
• Fluency in Figma
• Low ego, loves to collaborate, and open-minded
• Avid user of crypto
