User Experience Designer

A UI/UX Designer role at Channel Impact, a channel specialty firm, focusing on digital design solutions and user-centered design.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings
• Ensure a user-centered approach and design
• Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Test assets and optimize based on their performance
• Iterate new designs based on user/stakeholder feedback
• Create digital assets for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, websites, etc.)
• Design on-brand creative solutions for a variety of uses
• Design and develop homepages, landing pages, and email concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards
• Work closely with the development team to perform technical feasibility analysis before proposing a solution
• Take ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, design colleagues, information technologists, and content experts
• Use the latest software and applications to design and develop digital solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally within the high-tech industry
• Highly organized, self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and simultaneous tasks
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task, and adjust in a fast-paced environment
• Curiosity and confidence to ask questions
• Ability to take initiatives and follow through with tasks
• Keen eye for design and attention to detail
• Experience working in a CMS would be a plus
• Solid knowledge of design software programs, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with user-centered design, rapid prototyping, and user testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
