Translate product requirements into user-friendly web interfaces and develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to roll out new features and improve customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and user flows into user-friendly web interfaces.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed UI specifications that clearly communicate design intent to non-designers.
- Champion the principles of web design, ensuring a seamless and optimized experience across a range of screen sizes and resolutions.
- Design and define intuitive and innovative gesture-based interactions to enhance usability and create a fluid user experience.
- Stay at the forefront of web UI trends, patterns, and technologies, and be a vocal advocate for their application within the BitMEX platform.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering team to iterate on and refine UI elements based on user feedback and performance data.
- Regularly present design solutions and prototypes to the broader Retail Product team and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/UI experience, within trading, financial products or from a fintech platform.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Experience across multiple technologies, locations, and channels, web experience is essential.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and defend your design decisions.
- Exceptional visual design skills, with a sharp eye for detail, color, typography, and layout.
- Derivative trading knowledge is highly desirable.
